Peace there!
I’ve always felt that trying to define “who I am” is a bit of a trap.
It’s too easy to let ourselves be put in boxes, often buried by an idea of who we are that was bought on by external influence. That’s why I made a quiet, fierce promise to myself: I would only identify as two things, fully and absolutely, because they serve as my ultimate, non-negotiable foundation: I am a Muslim. I am a woman.
Everything else—healer, writer, leader, advisor—is what makes me human; it is what makes me… well, me. These are roles, but they are not my identity. My work in this life is a direct extension of my faith and my unwavering belief in the good in people and the transformative power of genuine connection.
This commitment is driven by something greater: the importance of legacy in this life and the next. I believe that by living and dying in integrity and transparency—a commitment that means more to me than all the money in the world—we gain the highest power a human can: true alignment with our ultimate purpose, our Big Why.
While the world may be full of people who follow the laws of deception, we absolutely don’t need to. We just need to be wiser and kinder, ensuring our actions reflect the depth of our conviction.
My focus in life is achieving this true alignment. I live this belief by writing books, providing platforms for others to express themselves, and sharing my direct, effective strategies for those looking to live their most authentic lives. And yes, my process always involves a good cup of coffee ☕ and deep, expansive talks.
